This painting was inspired by the women in Iran who were attacked with acid - women whose faces were taken from them through violence, fear, and control.

The blurred face in this work is not only about physical destruction, but about the loss of identity, safety, and the right to exist freely as a woman. At the same time, the body remains present, human, and alive.

This work speaks about pain, silence, and survival.

Even when a face is erased, a woman's presence cannot be erased.
